Dr Vishnu Sannarangappa is an experienced Endocrinologist situated in North Brisbane and the Moreton Bay Area.
Brief Info
Dr Vishnu completed his MBBS at JJM Medical College of Danvangere, India in 1998. He moved to the UK to further his studies as a junior medical officer eventually migrating to Australia in 2006. Following this, he commenced his Australian career locally at the Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals and completed his basic Physician training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He then moved to Adelaide where he completed his Endocrinology and General Medicine training at the Flinders Medical Centre. He eventually made his way to the north side of Brisbane.
Vishnu has worked as a lecturer in Medicine at the University of Queensland and Flinders University in Adelaide where he obtained various certificates of excellence in teaching. Presently he continues to work as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and continues his research. His participation, presentation and publication of research articles on endocrinology and other topics at various National and International conferences has been critically acclaimed and well received by veterans of the medical world.
In 2015, after moving back to Queensland, he commenced working on the North side of Brisbane including NorthLakes Endocrinology, Caboolture Public and Private Hospitals, Wesley Hospital, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside and North West Private Hospital as a Consultant Endocrinologist and General Physician.
His special interests include diabetes, metabolic bone diseases, and obstetric endocrinology.
He enjoys spending time with his daughter, playing squash and reading books.
Dr Vishnu currently practices at the North Lakes Specialist Medical Centre most days and at Caboolture Private Hospital on a Wednesday afternoon.
