Dr Uzo Dibia is a specialist in general medicine with a particular interest in public health, hypertension, acute medical conditions and complex health problems.

Dr Uzo Dibia offers compassionate and evidence-based treatment to all his patients, strongly believing that there is a unique balance to be struck between the humanity and the science of medicine in order to afford every person optimal care.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, Uzo gained practice experience in general medicine in England, before deciding to emigrate to Australia.

Finding a home in Brisbane, Uzo became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2013, and has since gone on to complete a Masters of Public Health and a Masters of Health/Health Care Administration from the University of New South Wales.

Outside of his clinical practice, Uzo is passionate about educating the future generation of health professionals. He is a lecturer at the University of Queensland and is actively involved in the supervision and training of medical students, resident doctors and allied health professionals.
