Dr Kelly Carruthers (BA Hons (Psych) MBBS, FRACP) completed her medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2008.
She has had a strong interest in Endocrinology since her junior doctor training at The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital. She completed her specialist training in the field of endocrinology at the RBWH and Nambour General Hospital.
Dr Carruthers looks after patients with a range of endocrine conditions and is committed to providing up-to-date care.
As a Type 1 Diabetic herself, Dr Carruthers is uniquely experienced in the management of Type 1 Diabetes, including insulin pump therapy and is passionate about improving the health of young Queenslanders.
Dr Carruthers works as an Endocrinologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
Dr Carruthers currently practices on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the North Lakes Specialist Medical Centre.
